This exhibit is a restored recording of Tommy Edwards in midday on WOR-FM, during the last week of December, 1971. Edwards is upbeat, smooth and anticipating the upcoming "Sound of '71" Special.

We initially believed this WOR-FM exhibit came from the same folks who brought us Scott Muni and Johnny Michaels from 1966, also in this collection. However, Rob Frankel explained in COMMENTS (below) that the original recording was made by veteran programmer Gary Berkowitz.

Rob, the official "restorian" for the annual WABC Rewound show, received it from ABC's Bob Gilmore. The exhibit appears in The Andy Bologovsky Collection courtesy of Bob.
