The Robert W. Morgan
Special of the Week

Robert W. Morgan will always be remembered for his on-air performances, but Morgan was also an outstanding voice-over talent. Los Angeles was treated to his expertise as a documentary narrator with The History of Rock 'n' Roll, the original "rockumentary", produced for KHJ in 1969.

In the mid 1970's, Watermark Executive Tom Rounds(American Top 40) teamed with Morgan for a series of syndicated radio specials. The Robert W. Morgan Special of the Week was distributed on vinyl and featured interviews with contemporary music stars. Morgan's smooth style was a perfect match for the high-quality production typical of Watermark. ROBERT W. MORGAN SPECIAL OF THE WEEK Record Label
In addition to a recording of Barry Manilow at 2 years of age, and extensive dialogue from Manilow, this 1976 program includes a medley of Manilow's commercial jingles, and comments by Ron Dante and Bette Midler.
