[Description by Uncle Ricky] John Reed is the midday star on WTIX, New Orleans, from Monday, October 7, 1968. Bob Walker delivers news. The reverb is NOT subtle. This is classic Top 40, you bet! There are some technical flaws, some with the original tape, but mostly digital. Still, despite the crackles, it's a sweet-sounding aircheck, for sure. There's a lot of musical variety here, and only a few super-burnouts. DISTRIBUTION OF THIS RECORDING VIOLATES MUSIC COPYRIGHTS
